Motorola Droid RAZR Sharp

The Droid RAZR was announced today to great fanfare by Motorola and I could go into all the specs that make it a great phone but we have been doing that all week.  I want to take a few moments to discuss some software that comes on the RAZR.  Yes Moto has included Blur but Smart Actions is one very interesting looking piece of software.  What does it do?

Smart Actions is on the RAZR to help keep your battery full of juice( or maybe because you are stuck with the battery that it comes with?) Smart Actions allows you to learn your home’s hotspot so when you arrive home so when you get there the RAZR will switch over to WiFi for you.  It will also automatically turn off your bluetooth for you as well.  The user is able to create profiles for home, work, or whatever that allows you to preset your phone’s system to save battery.  The phone also can watch your battery for you, performing actions to extend life such as dimming the screen at 40% and slowing down your date at 30%.  With a 4G LTE radio on board and a very large screen, keeping the battery in this phone humming should most certainly be a priority.  What do you guys think of having your phone watch your battery status and doing these things automatically?  I keep an eye on this myself but sometimes it would be nice to have the phone take over.  Sound off in the comments and let us know!
