Verizon Moto Droid 4 Appears Again,Launching Soon?!
A couple of weeks ago a phone looking to be the 4th iteration in Motorola’s Droid slider series made its first appearance. Funny thing about the device seen in that picture is that it appeared ready to sell, not the typical buggy prototype Mr. BlurryCam normally sees. Now thanks to Droid-Life today the Droid 4 is seen popping up all over Verizon’s computer system for testing, in more places than one as you can see below. Is Verizon getting ready to start selling this QWERTY? If history holds true, they are! Time and time again when a phone starts showing up in Verizon’s internal systems it is nearing launch time. With Motorola releasing phones like gangbusters this comes as no surprise. Specs on this phone are a healthy bump over the Droid 3 and can be found here but the big news here is the LTE radio. This phone is everything the Droid 3 should have been. If this phone releases before the end of the year it would be about 6 months from the Droid 3 to its replacement, leaving a potentially bitter taste in the mouth of anyone who bought the Droid 3. What do you guys think? Is it too soon for a Droid 3 replacement? Is there any place for this phone with an already crowded Verizon Android Lineup? If the Droid 4 came with Android 4.0 ICS would that change your minds? Sound off in the comments and let us know!
