Verizon Galaxy Nexus Details Finally Release!!

After watching the unveiling of the Galaxy Nexus it was swiftly found out that the specs shown where the ones for the HSPA+ version.  The Nexus equipped with Verizon’s 4G LTE radio would be thicker, the question has been, How Much? Thanks to Phandroid it looks like we have an answer. Google has officially updated its Galaxy Nexus page to finally include all the details on Verizon’s version of this superphone.  It’s a little big of a good news bad news situation.

While the Verizon Galaxy Nexus will be a little big thicker at 9.47mm it will be shipping with a bigger battery to keep up with that hungry LTE radio.  The LTE version will have a 1850mAh battery compared to a 1750 battery in the HSPA+ phone.  Here I was expecting the phone to be thicker simply because of the radio, taking the oppurtunity to sneak in a bigger battery is icing on the cake.  I’m pretty sure we can all live with an extra millimeter! With all this information flooding Verizon stores and employee training going on for both the phone and Android 4.0 it looks like a launch is imminant.  I, for one cannot wait!
