So you are a flashaholic like me on your Galaxy Nexus. You have tried pretty much all of the ROMs out there and have even flashed most of the themes.  Hell you are even running out of softkey mods to try out!  Well if this is you then thepsyntyst, a dev over on Rootzwiki has brought us something very new and exciting to try out!

I’m sure most if not all of you are familiar with screen transitions, this is the action that the home screen takes when you swipe from one screen to the next.  Some home replacements and ROMs let you change this to look like a cube, or make the screen flip away, or even 3D effects.  Well what thepsyntyst has done for us is extend these transition effects to every aspect of the phone.  If you open your Google Plus app and want to type something, it brings a smile to my face every time to see my keyboard come spinning out of the background right to where I need it.  Not only has this talented individual extended this mod to every screen transition on your phone, such as between apps, there are a number of different effects for you to flash in as well.  You can choose ThePSYNFlip which allows your home screens to flip away.  You can choose my personal favorite Twisted R1 in the video above, which causes everything to spin away in crazy circles away from you.  There is also PSYNShift, in the video below, in which everything moves away from you at right angles.  These mods could not be easier to flash either, simply download the file, go to Metamorph, hit Unzip new theme, select the file and hit apply.  That’s it, after you reboot you will see your new transitions in place.  As always please make a Nandroid backup before flashing any software.  On the link below there are some ROM specific mods however these transition effects are supposed to work for any GNex ROM and I can attest that they work flawlessly for Liquid and AOKP.  So if you are looking for the next great thing to mod, please head on over to the link below over on Rootzwiki!
