Samsung Starting Carrier Testing In Korea While Building New Display For Galaxy S III???!!

With all this news and release of the HTC One X, I am going to bust in here with the latest out of the Samsung Galaxy S III rumor mill.  The latest flagship Sammy phone is easily the most anticipated phone of the year next to HTC’s One X and it looks like Samsung is hard at work to bring its A game to this showdown.  With the One X featuring an amazing display, beastly processor, flat-out spectacular camera, and NFC, Sammy has its work cut out for it.  Fortunately for us Samsung fans they are pretty damn good at building sexy hardware ( yes I know but not at updating Android OS) and DDaily is only confirming this.

According to DDaily Samsung has begun production this week on displays for the newest Galaxy phone.  The displays rumored to be 4.65″ will be Samsung’s first OLED display to hit 720p without being a Pentile based unit.  The display will potentially have a pixel density of 316ppi, which is Retina Display territory on a much larger display.  We know that testing of the phone has begun thanks to Samsung telling AsiaE however there have been some holdups due to challenge of getting LTE and the quad-core processor on board to play nice together.  With leaked dates stating April, the effort to get all of these aspects to play well together may push release dates back further but do not worry this phone will be worth the wait.  I’m sure we would all rather see the carrier testing time extended then get devices that do not work well on our network.  With the bar set especially high by HTC it is nice to see that Sammy is not resting on its laurels.  As of right now this is all the information we have to report but stay tuned as this is not the last we have heard of this phone.
