On Android 4.0? MIUI Launcher Is Ready For Your Phone!!!!

So if you have been living under a rock and do not know what MIUI is, here is the rundown.  MIUI is a very popular aftermarket Android overlay developed by Xiaomi Tech.  The overlay combined a lot of the best qualities of Android and iOS, and at a time when making home screen folders was a new thing on Android, gave users some great new options.  The overlay became so popular, it has been released onto its own Android phone in China.

So in the meantime in the US, development has been going fast and furious on getting a stable MIUI ROM on Android 4.0.  I reviewed it here, and found it to work quite well on my phone.  However if you want to stay on the ROM that you are running, a Rootzwiki member, “hoppermi” is coming to your rescue.  This dev has put together a MIUI launcher home screen replacement that also includes the MIUI lock screen.  The MIUI launcher brings all the good things we have come to expect on ICS launchers as well as a very nice visual appeal.  While some may find it to Appley(yes I made that word up!) it is very well put together.  The launcher is still in beta but comes with some very nice widgets including the MIUI clock widget.  So check out the link below if you want to give this sweet launcher a try!
