Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Is On The Way!

Original Samsung Galaxy Note

The International Business Times is reporting that Samsung is preparing a second Galaxy Note phone known right now as the Samsung Galaxy Note 2. While the first note was a risky move for Sammy going a away from their traditional design and form-factors to an expansive phone/tablet design with a 5.3 inch screen. They are taking it a step further this time. The Galaxy Note 2 will have a 5.5 inch screen this time around and will come our way some time in October.

According to the report the Note 2 will feature a WSXGA screen (1050×1680) and an amazing pixel density of 360 pixels per square inch. Conversely the most amazing display around right now that on the HTC One X has a pixel density of 312 ppi. Of course as is quickly becoming standard for Samsung the screen will have a Super AMOLED display with a pentile matrix. Also there will be an 8mp camera on board with image sensor enhancements and higher lens quality than the Samsung Galaxy S 3. All with a similar design aesthetic as the SGS3.

Under the hood the phablet will have a dual core Exynos 5250. Keep in mind the 5250 is an industry first with its Cortex-A15 clocked at either 1.7 GHz or  2 GHz! This processor will bring twice the power of the dual core A9 processors you may have seen around. The 5250 is specially designed to take on 3-D and high resolution displays . We will certainly be keeping our eyes on this one. More to come.
