As someone who recently had a lot of trouble with his cable provider, I have been looking very hard at internet TV. There are more than a few options out there and Sony is looking to expand their foothold in the internet TV world this summer in a big way.  Their first foray into the internet TV world with its awkward remote has been replaced by a smooth, sexy unit.  The device with the somewhat unimaginative name of the NSZ-GS7 will of course bring the usual features of Google’s internet TV.  The reworked remote features a navigational touchpad, accelerometer, gesture and voice control,and a backlit navigational keypad on the back of the remote.  The first generation of Google TV products did not sell that well and some of that was due to bad hardware.  Here Sony is looking to break that mold.  The NSZ will be available for $199 and is up for pre-order at JR’s right now.  Sony is very excited for this product and with the remote featuring a touchscreen it is only a matter of time before developers are putting out apps that take advantage of this giant screen. So if internet TV is on your radar take a minute and check out Sony’s new unit, it may just be what you are looking for!
