As a long time player of Maplestory I was wondering when some sort of mobile version of the game would make its way to Android and though Nexon’s Mobile offering falls short of a port of the pc mmo it leaves nothing to be desired in terms of bringing what we love about Maplestory to Android. Maplestory Live is a smaller single player version of the pc classic that promises to be updated regularly and subtlety mimics the persistent world of the former by bringing the characters monsters and game play that made Maplestory so tremendously popular for so long.

There are two playable classes, the Dual Blade and Resistance Mechanic as well as tons of monsters to kill and collect in the platform levels. The game trys to remain interesting by giving you a number quest to complete and maps to explore and promises high replay value due to its connection to a previously established online world. I have thoroughly enjoyed the game in the time I have spent with it.The game comes in a free and deluxe editions. The Deluxe Edition is $4.41 which is credited back to you in in game currency. I highly recommend fans of Maplestory give it a try and if you ‘ve never heard of it but love action rpg’s  give this one  a shot.
