JellyBean Source Code Is Released…. Developers and Modders Rejoice!

Well if you haven’t heard already the JellyBean source code for Android 4.1 was released earlier this evening ushering in a new era of theming and modding for all. This means that most everyone will be able to reap at least some benefit from this almost immediately. Most people running rooted devices will see new updates to Google Now and perhaps some benefits from project butter ported to their Ice Cream Sandwhich (Android 4.0 ROMS). Of course nexus device users and fans of AOSP ROMS will see immediate results from the availability of source code as Team Douche has already commnted on merging new code to release stable builds for various devices in lieu of the release of the source code. This is certainly exciting news and of course you can stay tuned for word of any awesome MODS as the week progresses.
