We have been chatting you guys up for some time about Rovio’s new non angry birds adventure dubbed Amazing Alex. Well as of today it’s live in Google Play and is the perfect game for puzzle loving pragmatist looking for a break from angry birds.

The premise of Amazing Alex Is that you use all sorts of objects to create these awesome chain reactions used to complete objectives. Words really can’t do the game justice aa there is some pretty ingenious stuff at work here. There are three versions: free (ad supported, ad free for 99 cents or the HD version which is $2.99.Check out the official trailer below. The HD version is fantastic and worthy of consideration. Rovio may well have another hit on their hands with Amazing Alex. I spent quite a bit of time with the game myself. It’s good to see Rovio continuing to branch out into other creative concepts after knocking it out of the park with Angry Birds.
