Tegra 3 Powered HTC Vertex HD Tablet Leaks, Benchmarks Included!!
A lot of news recently has been covering Samsung devices however you guys didn’t think HTC was going to just let that stand did you? After a lukewarm first attempt into the world of tablet’s with the HTC Flyer, yesterday HTC teased us a little bit with a new tablet in the pipes. Today it looks like the tablet has stepped out from behind the curtains for the world and let me introduce the HTC Vertex HD.
The Vertex will be a 10″tablet powered by the awesome quad-core Tegra 3 processor running at 1.3GHz. That 10″ display will have a resolution of 1280×752, Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich, front and rear cameras of 2MP and 1.3MP respecitvely, as well of the usual Beats Audio integration. The tablet market for Android is an interesting one. There are some very nice devices out there but the quality of the hardware is a very wide variety with A LOT of very crappy tablets to be had. It really excites me to see a company like HTC looking to bring a beast of a tablet to the market. With Google’s Nexus tablet here and Samsung’s 10″ tablet in the pipes, HTC is going to have to bring its A game. If there is one there that HTC is good for, it is quality hardware so I am quite sure we will be impressed! In the meantime check out the benchmarks below!
