When the Samsung Galaxy S III was finally unveiled, we all knew it would be a popular device.  The phone is on all the major carriers in this country and packing the latest and greatest hardware so it only make sense that the shiny new version of Android would find its way onto the phone pretty quickly.  The rumor of the Jelly bean update has been floating around for a while, with the original update time being pegged as August.  According to the latest leaks that time-table is just a little bit off with Jelly Bean coming the GSIII as soon as September and JB updates to the Note and GSII to follow.  There are already builds in testing and as of today YouMobile.org is saying that they have confirmation of the September date for the GSIII.  So if you are an owner of a shiny new Sammy flagship and are holding off on rooting to check out this update, it looks like you can finally start watching the calendar.  As usual with rumors, take this with a grain of salt but with the popularity of the GSIII and unification across the carriers, chances are good that JB will find its way onto this phone sooner rather than later!!
