One of my favorite things in my house is my small collection of Andrew Bell Android Figures.  The series is about to be composed of 3 groups as the 3rd looks to finally be ready.  Months ago  I reported that the 3rd series would be ready in Q2 of this year, but as you guys can see that time frame has come and passed. Well today Andrew Bell himself took to the Dysplastic blog to explain the hold up and I think you guys might be pleasantly surprised by the reason.

If you have ever handled the figures before you know they have some limited motion in their arms, being able to spin them in a circle within one plane.  This is no longer the case and is one of the reasons for the 2 month delay.  Now instead of a single piece making up the arm that turns in one direction, Dyzplastic has a 3 piece arm installed that allows a much wider range of motion.  This means more time to design and assemble the finished product and combined with the more complex paint jobs on these new figures has lead to the delay. However Andrew is promising that the figures will drop in Q3 so keep your eyes peeled, these will not disappoint!!
