Wikipad: Is This The Future Of Portable Gaming?

Wikipad is one of the more unique concepts out there. While Ouya gets the vast majority of the press here is another Tegra-3 machine that hopes to get your hard earned cash gamers. Wikipad has come seemingly out of no where with it’s 10 inch IPS display (not the 7 inch prototype shown at CES earlier this year) with 1280×800 resolution and weighing in at a waffe 560 grams. What is the most vital thing for a game machine aside from GPU? RAM how much, how fast? It will come up with 1GB of DDR2 RAM which is more than respectable but not quite as much as I had hoped for despite the cost. 16 GB of internal storage will be available though larger internal storage options appear likely. Wikipad is a gaming machine and honestly the specs are nothing special and I am gazing at my Nexus 7 while I say that. However, It’s the controller add-on is an absolute marvel of design. Take a gander below it has: two sets  triggers, dual analog, four face buttons, and start and select and it’s quite incredible how the tablet slides into it like a glove reminiscent of something from Asus. This device has no concrete release date for now but take a gander at the images below in the meantime. I can’t lie, they have our attention with this one. Check out the images below and let us know what you think? As always, Happy Flashing!
