Interview: Cognitive Code’s Leslie Spring Tells All About The SILVIA Artificial Intelligence Platform, Androids Answer For Siri

SILVIA

I had the pleasure of speaking with SILVIA”s creator Leslie Spring from Cognitive Code last week and ask a few questions about the upcoming multi-platform SILVIA Artificial Intelligence/ chatbot. SILVIA as a project has gotten a lot of momentum from the success of Siri and other chat bots however, SILVIA is unique in a ton of ways and frankly appears more intelligent than Siri or any other chatbots out there. Lots of things were revealed in this interview including the portability factor of SILIVIA since she does not... Read The Rest →

Celes Arca

Japanese developer Asobimo has already impressed us with Frontier Gunner (not currently available in the U.S.) and we gave you a preview of that game. Last week they quietly released Iruna Online a pretty little mmo that was nice but now they have gone and done it. Celes Arca is an impressive game that I had the pleasure of spending a few hours with today. The hardest part of my job is when I have to sit and play video games (i’m joking of course) and this... Google TV Hackathon Weekend Is Set…. Google Is Involved !

Sony Google TV

My Google TV is one of my favorite Android devices. It’s not quite as open or as customizable as say my phone or tablet but that just means we need innovation from the community of developers. Google apparently understands this concpt. Google has announced it’s hooking up with Silicon Valley’s SVAndroid and the London Android team Londroid to run two hackathon’s concurrently. The United States end of the event will be hosted at Google’s Mountain View headquarters and this is how the event will work. On Friday April 20 ideas will be... Read The Rest →

FriendCaster And Plume Both Get The Ice Cream Sandwich Makeover

friendcaster

It is so nice to see Google updating their honeycomb apps to the ICS versions and it’s even better to see other app developers take the initiative to update their apps to fit the Ice Cream Sandwich theme. Two of those apps I am very excited to say have been updated to fit the new look today. Both Plume (my favorite twitter client until Carbon arrives) and FriendCaster (the only facebook app worth our time in my opinion) are now “Holo” themed. Add to that SwiftKey and Android is getting... Read The Rest →

Ra6eQUIT: Battlefield Bad Company 2 Hands On

bbctitle

So it seems some think this is an exclusive of sorts but I have been playing this title for a little while and I decided to take a few screens and chime in with my opinion on the fps shooter coming our way from Electronic Arts. As of now the non-Xperia version is not widely available but I seem to have a knack for getting my hands on stuff so here we go. Battlefield Bad Company 2′s graphics look great on my tablet screen. Sound is ok as... Read The Rest →
