Verizon Starting Huge LTE Expansion In Midwest and Eastern States Today!!!
Way back when in the days of 3G pretty much ever major carrier in the US was looking into a 4G network. Both AT&T and T-Mobile were looking into HSPA+, Sprint was firing up its Wi-Max network, and Verizon was throwing all of its eggs in a basket called LTE. At the end of the day only LTE and T-Mobile’s HSPA+networks are still humming. AT&T and Sprint are in the early stages of their LTE rollout with their previous networks being left in the dust. Verizon is still cranking out... Read The Rest →
HTC EVO LTE Finally Begins Shipping Out Expected To Arrive Thursday May 24th As Announced
Well what a pleasant surprise I awoke this morning to find that a lot of the EVO 4G LTE pre-orders had begun shipping and this can be confirmed by UPS. The packages are expected to be delivered tomorrow. If you don’t know it has become the most notorious smart-phone in history passing through international customs only to be halted by U.S. officials and barred entry into the United States due to an injunction won by Apple inc. from the International Trade Commission. Several days past and finally word came that... Read The Rest →
Sprint Loses 1.3B Due To iphone Subsidies Bad At First Glance? Look Again.
I would like to take a moment to challenge a few editorials on the subject of Sprint’s earnings call. Sprint reported a loss of 1.3 billion dollars in the 4th quarter and if you are one of those folks into stocks that’s about 32 cents a share on 8.72 billion in revenue. What A lot of the analyst looking at this fail to mention is the quarter billion dollars of this that actually come from Sprint keeping Clearwire afloat and additional asset charges from day to day operations.... Droid XYBoard Accessories Are Arriving at Verizon!!
So it seems Mr Blurrycam has given us some shots of the Motorola Droid XYBoard. If you did not know this is the badly named successor to the Motorola Zoom. The Zoom has been an interesting experience for both Moto and end users. The tablet was billed as a 4G LTE device however it shipped with 3G only and the user had to send the tablet back to Moto to have a LTE radio installed. Maybe Moto is looking to forget this tablet with the new XYBoard moniker. Either way this... Read The Rest →
Verizon Galaxy Nexus Ads Leak!!!
So before you get too excited the ad does not have a release date for us. It does however go a long ways towards confirming the price of the upcoming phone. Looks like Samsung’s latest superphone will set you back $199 with a new two-year activation. This is alot cheaper than Verizon’s other top-tier LTE offerings which usually run $299. While the ad looks legit this is reason to be a little suspicious. If the link on the ad is clicked it takes you to Verizon’s holiday specials, however the... Read The Rest →

Not many things can get Android fans fired up like what is real 4G. Verizon was a little late to the party but proved that it was worth the wait when the speed of its 4G LTE network was seen in everyday use.
