Transformer Prime to Recieve Unlockable Bootloader
The power of the people’s voice has been witnessed again. Four hours ago ASUS North America announced via their Facebook Page that the ASUS Transformer Prime will gain a tool available to unlock their bootloader. There is a twist however. It will register the device as having a voided warranty and will prevent the device from renting movies off of the Android Market. NVIDIA Scoops Some Ice Cream: ICS Asus Prime Video
PRIME TIME! NVIDIA has now provided a video giving us a look at some of Ice Cream Sandwich’s best features on the forthcoming ASUS Transformer Prime tablet. One of the more remarkable things is how quickly NVIDIA claims they were able to get the code up and running on the tablet in two days. The Tegra 3 is a monster. Not that you needed me to tell you NVIDIA’s Kal-El processor is the fastest thing out there right now and to be honest we don’t need the benchmark scores above to tell us it’s faster than the Galaxy Nexus.
