Verizon Moto DROID RAZR HD Finally Makes A Blurry Cam And Nenamark Benchmark Appearance!!!!

razr-hd1-327x650

The next generation of Motorola’s RAZR line has finally showed its face.  The HD  has not exactly been flying under the radar lately but yesterday some pics of the new device were leaked to Droid-Life.  I know a lot of you are not fans of a phone that does not have a removable battery and the HD looks to continue that trend. However to make up for this the HD has the same massive 3,300 mAh battery shoehorned in... Read The Rest →

ClockWork Mod Recovery For EVO 4G LTE

clockworkmod-tether-to-bring-a-noroot-tethering-solution-to-windows-mac-and-linux_ote-w_0

This literally took no time. On the very day the EVO landed it got a one click root and now developers toastchf has brought the ability to write to system by way of recovery. Backup, Restore, and Flashing Zips are working but there is no mass storage or touch for now. The XDA post also includes the stock recovery just in case. Of course you must HTC Dev Unlock before you can give this a go. Developer Viperboy did all the testing for this and also has a ROM... Read The Rest →

JKeene Reviews-Paranoid Android ROM For Galaxy Nexus LTE!!

Screenshot_2012-05-25-17-46-52

It’s been really interesting watching and tracking the growth of ROMs on the newest Nexus phone.  Android 4.0 was certainly a game changer in the world of Android.  From the redesigned UI giving ROM devs a new look to customize, to the softkeys giving us mods that no-one had even thought of till then, it has been an awesome trip.  However for a little while now I have been in the words of Jack Johnson, “Sitting, waiting, wishing” for something new in the Nexus ROM world. Something fresh that really... Read The Rest →

Editorial: Saying Goodbye To The EVO 3D

evo3d

Its that time again and as I transition from EVO to EVO I always say a few words about my experience with the phone I am about to retire. I did the very same thing with the legendary HTC EVO 4G and now the time has come to do it with the underrated HTC EVO 3D. If you are interested in taking a look at my thoughts on the EVO 4G it can be read at my previous website by googling “Saying Goodbye To The EVO 4G”... Read The Rest →

Sprint Confirms EVO LTE Delay, Conflicting Information And Confusion Abound

sprint_android_logo (600 x 450)

So the interwebs are abuzz right now about International Trade Commission and the U.S. Government stopping shipments of Sprint’s EVO 4G LTE (and the HTC One X for that matter) due to an wide ranging exclusion order Apple won against HTC back in December. Apple owns patent #5,946,647  which deals with hyper links in the messaging app and browser on Android devices (though this particular exclusion order specifically targets HTC probably due to the code used in Sense UI). HTC released a statement that can be found here in the report... Read The Rest →

newtoroot’s One S BETA Brings Sense 4.0 to EVO 3D

newtoroot

Developer newtoroot is the first developer to port a fairly functional Sense 4.0 to the EVO 3D and he has done a great job. As will all ICS ROMS for the EVO 3D there are a number of issues but for a beta ROM overall it is pretty slick. For starters there is no camera. Face it guys the 3-D camera really complicates things when it comes to aftermarket development and we won’t be seeing working camera until HTC releases something  official or something made for the EVO 3D... Samsung Galaxy S III Shown Off In Dummy Case!!!!!!!

9_0

OK people it is finally being shown off!!  The Samsung Galaxy S III has been caught in disguise in Vietnam and on video.  Samsung is sending out the phone’s internals in dummy shells as to keep the final aesthetics under wraps.  The Vietnamese site, Tinhte, has gotten their hands on video of the phone in its dummy shell but the most important thing is the confirmation of the internals that the phone will be packing.  The site put up a very through video tour of the phone and some pretty epic hardware... Internal Sprint Document Shows Insurance Is Going Up For All LTE Devices

Sprint TEP Poloicy

Sprint has increased the price of it’s Total Equipment Protection (insurance) Program for LTE devices. It is going up approximately 3 bucks  from around $8 to $11 and the deductible for such phones has gone up considerably as well from around $150 for the average high end handset to around $2oo for any of Sprint’s new LTE handsets. This is admittedly an inconvenience as the monthly rate has already increased once the end of 2011 but with Sprint’s unlimited data rates remaining the same it’s a inconvenience I think we should grin and bare.... Ra6eQUIT: Asobimo’s Celes Arca (A REAL MMO) available for Android!!!

Celes Arca

Japanese developer Asobimo has already impressed us with Frontier Gunner (not currently available in the U.S.) and we gave you a preview of that game. Last week they quietly released Iruna Online a pretty little mmo that was nice but now they have gone and done it. Celes Arca is an impressive game that I had the pleasure of spending a few hours with today. The hardest part of my job is when I have to sit and play video games (i’m joking of course) and this... Samsung Declares Pricing And Release Dates For Galaxy Tab 2!!!!

Samsung_Galaxy_Tab_2_10.1_review_11-580-90

I think even the most hardened Android fan has to admit that Apple’s iPad was the tablet that started it all.  Ever since then Android has been attempting to catch up and while some tablets have been quite good, the market has become quite saturated with alot of low-end tablets.  But here is where Android can overtake Apple, if a manufacturer can release tablets with quality software and hardware at a price point that beats the iPad then we will see Android tablets grow by leaps and bounds.  It looks...
