Sprint Getting Galaxy Note? Unless This Is A Big Mistake
Sprint just published a pic of what appears to be a Galaxy Note on their website. All you have to do is had over to www.sprint.com and check out the changing tiles (unless its removed by the time I hit publish on this) on the bottom that says “Sprint Mobile Controls”. Just like you see above you will see a device that look so much like that Galaxy Note it will blow your mind. The reason it looks like the Galaxy Note is because well… It is the Galaxy Note.... If you remember a while back all of the U.S. carriers were arguing over whose 4G service was fastest and even whose was actually 4G. Sprint had WiMAX, Verizon LTE, and AT&T and T-Mobile had HSPA+. HTC EVO HD LTE Announcement forthcoming?
Pocket Now has apparently got their hands on a tip on a device codenamed HTC Jewel. The phone will reportedly be a variant of the HTC One X handsets. Where the modifications will come is up in the air, but traditionally EVO’s have been cutting edge and one thing is pretty clear. It will have an HD display. Wimax is on the way out and we have covered that here plenty but this phone like the EVO 4G before it will be the first phone on Sprint’s 4G LTE... Read The Rest →
Sprint Loses 1.3B Due To iphone Subsidies Bad At First Glance? Look Again.
I would like to take a moment to challenge a few editorials on the subject of Sprint’s earnings call. Sprint reported a loss of 1.3 billion dollars in the 4th quarter and if you are one of those folks into stocks that’s about 32 cents a share on 8.72 billion in revenue. What A lot of the analyst looking at this fail to mention is the quarter billion dollars of this that actually come from Sprint keeping Clearwire afloat and additional asset charges from day to day operations.... The below video features a speedtest from an anonymous Texas resident who goes as far as to type into the address bar to keep it that way. In terms of the validity... Read The Rest →
